Reservations:

DR&PM has 4 choices when making your reservation for one of our Palm Springs Vacation Rentals, they are as follows:

Online: View your choices, check availability and make your reservation all using our easy online booking system.

Email: Email at reservations@desertrents.com with the address of your choice of Vacation rental property and the dates of your stay, we will make your reservation and email you a confirmation.

Telephone: Call DR &PM Toll Free at (877) 322-1114 and one of our friendly service agents will assist you with your reservation.

In Person: Visit our office in Palm Springs at 440 S. Cielo Road #10. Please refer to our office hours described above.

 

Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival are subject to a $35.00 non refundable reservation fee. For non family groups all occupants must be at least 25 years of age. Please designate one person in your group to be responsible for all correspondence and payments. A copy of this person's drivers license is required by City ordinance. Maximum occupancy is 2 per bedroom and 2 per sofa beds. All reservations have a minimum of 2 nights. Our vacation rental properties are available for weekends, weekly, monthly or season. Please see each property description for details. Reservations for less than 28 days are subject to local transient occupancy taxes. These range from 10% to 15% depending on location. The tax rate in Palm Springs is 11.5%

All of our Palm Springs Vacation rentals are subject to availability. DR&PM will do its up-most to honor all reservations. However, if circumstances beyond the control of DR&PM ’s do arise and the assigned rental property is unavailable DR&PM will attempt to reassign you to another vacation rental of comparable value & quality.

Deposits & Payments:

A security deposit is required on all reservations. This refundable deposit is used to protect the Owner from any damage, beyond normal wear and tear, done to the unit by yourself and/or your guests. Each property description will include the amount of security deposit required. Payment of the security is due at the time the reservation is made. 50% of the rent and other fees are due 60 days before arrival, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival must be fully prepaid at the time of booking. This prepayment is non refundable if cancelled. All payments are due in U.S. dollars. Payment may be made by check, cashier check, money order or through Paypal available on our website. Failure to make payments according to this schedule may result in the cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of all monies paid. DR&PM only charges a reservation fee for bookings made less than 30 days before arrival.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel your reservation. Reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival will be eligible for a refund of monies paid less a cancellation fee ranging from $50 to $100 depending on length of stay. Prepayments received on reservations cancelled less than 30 days before arrival will be held as liquated damages subject to our ability to re-rent the property. A portion of the prepayment may be refunded if the unit is re-rented, but will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee. The refundable security deposits less any damage charge will be processed within 3 weeks of departure.

Checkin/Checkout:

Our earliest check in time is 2:00pm and checkout is 10:00am. Please respect these times so that our Housekeeping crews can clean the properties to our high standards.

Upon Arrival: Please pick up your keys, gate pass and garage door opener at our office during the business hours noted above. We are conveniently located near the airport at 440 S. El Cielo Rd. #10 in Palm Springs. Any remaining paperwork will be completed at this time. Please advise us if you are arriving before or after office hours as special arrangements will need to be made. For first time visitors we can arrange to meet you at the Airport and escort you to your Palm Springs Vacation rental. We would appreciate you inspecting your unit and advising us of any cleaning and/or repair issues as soon as possible after arrival. We can then have our service staff correct any problems.

Upon Departure: When leaving your unit make sure that the trash has been taken out and that all windows, sliders and doors are securely locked and that the A/C and /or heater are turned off. All properties will be inspected by our Quality Assurance team to ascertain any damages to the property or contents during your stay beyond normal wear and tear. Please return all keys, gate pass and garage door opener to our office. A replacement fee will be charged for any keys ($25.00), gate pass and garage door opener ($50.00) not returned at departure. Special arrangements can be requested for departure outside our office hours.

Housekeeping/Utilities:

All our Palm Springs vacation rentals are individually owned and comfortably furnished by the owners and include kitchen gear and laundry facilities. They are professionally cleaned and stocked with linens before your arrival. A post occupancy cleaning fee is included in your rate. Maid service during your stay is not included; we can arrange cleaning service at a reasonable cost.

All our Vacation rental homes and condos have an individualized property guide. The information will answer many of your questions about the unit. They also provide a great deal of information about Palm Springs restaurants and attractions.

Local and emergency telephone service is provided in all our properties. You will also be able to receive Long Distance calls, however if you will need to make Long Distance calls please bring your cell phone.

Very few of our Vacation rentals allow pets (dogs only), refer to each properties description to check if pets are allowed and the amount of pet deposit required.

All our Vacation rentals are strictly NON SMOKING. Smoking inside our properties will result in forfeiture of your entire security deposit.

If a maintenance issue arises during your stay please call us immediately at (760) 322-1114. We will endeavor to correct the issue on the same day.

We may impose an energy cap for gas & electricity on monthly rentals. Weekend and Weekly rentals include all energy costs. Private pools and spas will be heated to 87* upon request, there is a $600 surcharge per month for heating the pool.

Damages/Liability:

You agree to indemnify the owner for any damage or loss to the rental property or its contents that results from the negligence or abuse on the part of yourself and/or your guests, excluding normal wear and tear.

This rental program is under the management of DR&PM who acts only as an agent for the owners. All properties are privately owned; management will not be responsible for any accident or injury to guests or loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
